24 Kaikan - Shinjuku

24 Kaikan Shinjuku is the largest and best-known gay sauna in Tokyo, set across eight floors in the heart of Shinjuku Ni-chome, the city's main LGBTQ+ district. Open around the clock, it has dry and mist saunas, Japanese-style hot and cold baths, open showers, a solarium and rooftop terrace, video lounges, a bar and snack area, private cabins and communal rest areas, with rooms available for an overnight stay. Foreigner-friendly and steps from the Ni-chome bars, it's the flagship of the 24 Kaikan group and a Tokyo institution - busiest late and at weekends.
