Bar Blend

Bar Blend is the intimate original of the Blend family, a colorful, unapologetically itself little bar right in the middle of Reguliersdwarsstraat, the spine of Amsterdam's gay nightlife. It works more like a modern neighborhood bar than a club, a ground-floor room with a long bar, tables and wall benches around a DJ booth, plus a second floor for busier nights and a sunny terrace out front. Programming leans social and a little campy, regular drag shows, Monday-night bingo, Eurovision watch parties and guilty-pleasure pop nights, with enough seating to actually talk early in the evening before the street fills up. A friendly, easy first or last stop on a Reguliers crawl, and the perfect smaller counterpart to its bigger, dance-focused sibling Blend XL just a few doors down.
