Sauna Portugal is the last remaining gay sauna in Gran Canaria, a recently renovated, men-only spot in the island capital of Las Palmas, just one block from Las Canteras beach. Spread over two comfortable levels, it offers a Finnish sauna, steam bath, private cabins, a maze, dark rooms, massage, and a bar-cafeteria with snacks. A genuine local institution that draws mostly Canarian men, with tourists warmly welcomed, it opens daily through the afternoon and evening, and makes a relaxed, authentic change of pace from the resort scene down in Maspalomas.
