Reds Club

-
CC Barbados II Ave de Tirajana 17, 35100, Maspalomas, Spain

Reds Club is a gay cruising and fetish venue for men located in the basement of the Barbados II complex at Avenida de Tirajana 17 in Playa del Inglés. Just a few minutes’ walk from the Yumbo Centrum, it offers an easy alternative to the bars and cruise clubs inside Maspalomas’ famous LGBTQ+ nightlife hub. The entrance is relatively discreet, so look for the Barbados II complex and follow the signs downstairs. Once inside, however, subtlety takes the night off: Reds is designed for men who want more than a polite drink and meaningful eye contact across a crowded bar.

Spread across two floors and more than 200 square metres, Reds is one of the larger gay cruising venues in Gran Canaria. The main bar provides a social area where guests can order a drink, meet other men and get a sense of the evening before exploring further. The play facilities reportedly include dark areas, private cabins, glory holes, slings, communal beds and spaces dedicated to different fantasies. There is also a smoking area. The venue is generally described as clean and well maintained, with friendly staff contributing to a relaxed atmosphere.

Reds attracts an exclusively male clientele, with many visitors aged over 35, although the exact mix changes according to the season and event. As Maspalomas welcomes gay travelers from across Europe throughout the year, conversations can move quickly between Spanish, English, German, French and whatever universal language is spoken by a strategically raised eyebrow. The atmosphere tends to be approachable rather than aggressively exclusive, making Reds accessible to both experienced cruisers and curious first-time visitors.

A different theme or dress code may apply each night. Underwear, naked, sportswear, fetish and sex-in-the-dark events regularly feature in the weekly program. Some nights allow several styles, while others impose a more specific rule. Check the official calendar before choosing your outfit—or deciding that an outfit is entirely unnecessary. During major dates such as Maspalomas Pride, Winter Pride and Fetish Pride, special events may replace the usual program and the venue can become significantly busier.

The busiest period is often between approximately 9 p.m. and midnight, so arriving during those hours gives you a better chance of finding both a lively bar and active cruising areas. Visitors who prefer a quieter introduction can arrive shortly after opening. Reds generally opens every evening from around 8 p.m. until 2:30 a.m., although some sources advertise later hours and special events may follow a different schedule. Admission usually costs between €10 and €12 and includes one drink; promotions or early happy-hour conditions may occasionally apply.

Reds Club remains open in 2026. Bring valid identification, confirm the current dress code, and remember that nudity or a cruising environment never replaces consent. Respect a “no,” protect yourself and avoid photographing anyone inside. Reds is not a dance club, a sauna or a conventional gay bar: it is an adults-only space built around male cruising and fetish play. If that is what you are looking for, its central location, substantial facilities and welcoming team make it one of Playa del Inglés’ most established after-dark playgrounds.
