Number 52

Number 52 is Newcastle's only gay sauna and the sole venue of its kind across the whole North East of England, a gay-owned spot in the city's Pink Triangle, a short walk west of Central Station, opposite Jurys Inn and next to The Eagle pub. Recently refurbished over three floors with privacy in mind, it offers a 14-man dry sauna, a steam room, a seven-man hydrotherapy pool, a relaxation lounge, private rooms for hire, a licensed café-bar and a courtyard for smokers, with free WiFi. Open seven days a week and continuously all weekend from Friday morning to Sunday evening, with free discreet membership and regular monthly events, it draws a friendly, mixed-age crowd from across the region.
