The following is the event program for 2019. Stay tuned for the 2020 program for the Northern Pride, coming soon.
For 2019, Northern Pride will be returning for another weekend, July 19 to 21, and it will include a jam-packed schedule of entertainment, cultural events, and of course one incredible pride parade. Northern Pride will take place in Town Moor and Exhibition Park, with Town Moor hosting the Pride Festival Arena. You can look forward to a range of special guests who will be performing on the main stage. Headline acts for the Pride Festival Arena include pop sensation group, Liberty X, as well as Fleur East and Saara Aalto.
Exhibition Park will be hosting the Pride Community Village, which will welcome a Family & Youth Zone, a Health & Wellbeing Zone, and the Rainbow Village. The highlight of Northern Pride, however, is the incredible pride parade, which will this year be entitled the Stonewall Remembrance March to honor the 50 years since the Stonewall Riots of New York. It will kick off on Saturday at 12pm. Last year, some 20,000 pride enthusiasts attended the parade, so we expect 2019 to be just as momentous. Everything will wrap up on the Sunday evening with a poignant Candelit Vigil from 9pm.
