Dani's Queer Bar is Boston's lesbian bar—a space for sapphic, trans, and non-binary community members, with everyone welcome. Founder Thais Rocha, a longtime community organizer, opened it in September 2024 in Back Bay on Boylston Street, filling a gap the city had felt for decades. Pink walls, art by local queer artists, and lavender neon set a warm, easygoing scene for creative cocktails and Brazilian bites served until 11:30 pm. The calendar is built around no-cover community nights: drag brunch every Saturday and Sunday, karaoke on Thursdays, a Saturday night party for the girls, gays, and theys, plus watch parties and sapphic nights. Time Out named it Best New Nightlife Venue in 2024, and Boston Magazine did the same in 2025.
