Lockeland Table

Lockeland Table is a beloved, James Beard-nominated community kitchen and bar in the heart of East Nashville, Music City's most progressive and queer-friendly neighborhood, set in a lovingly rehabbed 1930s storefront a block from the famous Lipstick Lounge. Warm, neighborly, and unpretentious, it turns out Southern-accented American comfort food and excellent wood-fired pizzas from a menu built on fresh, local ingredients. Instead of a standard happy hour, it runs a daily "Community Hour" that donates a share of proceeds to local schools. A genuine East Nashville institution, once voted the city's best restaurant, it's a welcoming, gay-friendly spot for a relaxed dinner in one of Nashville's coolest districts.
