Rural Retreat | Pool, Breakfast & Massage

Escape to the peaceful hills of the Serra do Caldeirão and experience a slower pace of life, surrounded by nature, comfort and authentic Portuguese hospitality.

Located just 45 minutes from Faro Airport and the beautiful Algarve coastline, my home offers a tranquil retreat where you can relax by the pool, enjoy the gardens, explore scenic walking and cycling routes, or simply unwind beneath the stars in one of Portugal’s most peaceful rural settings.

Your private room has been thoughtfully prepared to ensure a comfortable and restful stay. It features a luxurious king-size bed, wardrobe, dedicated workspace, comfortable armchair and plenty of natural light.

The shared bathroom is used only by me, your host and is maintained to a very high standard of cleanliness throughout your stay.

Each morning begins with a complimentary breakfast, served in a relaxed atmosphere. Choose from a traditional continental breakfast, homemade porridge or freshly prepared local eggs while enjoying the peaceful surroundings.

As a qualified massage therapist with almost 17 years of professional experience, I also have a dedicated treatment room within the house. Guests are welcome to book a wide range of professional massage treatments during their stay, creating the perfect opportunity to relax, restore and rebalance. Guests staying five nights or longer will receive one complimentary massage as part of their stay.

Outside, you’ll discover a pool, the garden, sun loungers, a hammock, outdoor dining area and a small training space, allowing you to enjoy both relaxation and wellbeing throughout your visit.

Animal lovers will also feel at home here. I share my home with one friendly dog and two affectionate elderly cats, who are part of the family and love welcoming guests.

The surrounding countryside is ideal for hiking, cycling, birdwatching, photography and discovering the authentic getaway from the busy tourist resorts. Traditional Portuguese villages, local markets and the region’s famous beaches are all within easy driving distance. Because of the rural location, having a car is highly recommended.
