The Salty Pearl is a bright and welcoming house inspired by the colors of the Atlantic coast. Ideal for a peaceful stay by the sea, it combines the charm of a beach house with comfort and simplicity. It has everything you need, both for weekend getaways and longer stays - with everything designed to make you feel right at home. The house is fully equipped, with a full kitchen, washing machine and dishwasher. It has high-speed Wi-Fi and everything you need for a practical and comfortable stay. It sleeps up to 6 people: one bedroom with a king-size bed, another with two single beds (which can be joined to make a double bed), and a sofa bed in the living room.
Located in a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood, the apartment is just a 14-minute walk from the center of Cascais and the beaches. It's the ideal place for those looking for tranquillity without sacrificing convenience. Just down the stairs from the building, you'll find it:
- A local gourmet bakery specializing in sourdough. It serves artisan bread that is still warm, freshly brewed coffee, fresh kombucha and a careful selection of natural wines.
- An artisanal ice cream shop that combines unique flavors - from reinvented classics to surprising creations. As well as ice cream, you'll also find irresistible cheesecakes and matcha lattes.
- A bike rental store, perfect for exploring Cascais in a free and ecological way. You can cycle to the beach, the historic center or the famous Guincho wall by the sea. A few meters away you'll find the Vines Trail, ideal for hiking or cycling. This trail connects to Quinta do Pisão, a protected nature area in the direction of Sintra, and the Cascais Market.
The neighborhood is quiet and family-friendly, with some easy parking. There is free public parking available behind the building and in the streets of the adjacent neighborhoods (subject to availability). For added convenience, there is also a parking lot nearby.
