I’m a single guy who moved from the rat race in London a couple of years ago for a quieter life in the country.
I’m renting lovely double bedroom en suite, which is a granny-annexe type room. It has its own ante-room with work space and a spin bike / weights bench. It’s just off the main house, so very private (but shared kitchen).
The house is a ******** year old cottage in a small village, three miles from Glastonbury, perfect for anyone visiting the area who wants a very peaceful garden, wine on the terrace, and enjoying a large garden.
Perfect location for Wells, Glastonbury, Pilton, Castle Cary, or just anyone who wants a few days away to work / chill in the country.
You’ll have the best night sleep here you’ll ever have. Perfect for travellers, people who just want to get away, work / writing breaks.
I’m fairly chilled, can recommend all the local fitness / yoga / walks near by.

Moved from London two years ago to get out of the city, and bought a doer-upper in the middle of nowhere. It’s a glorious spot, come join me.
I’m happiest pottering about in / on the house.
It’s a great spot, and really keen you enjoy it, relax, see the sights. I’m more on the “nice wine, good chat” side than parties and late nights.

Glastonbury (10 mins). Excellently placed to visit the tor, the abbey, the springs, and the town. Wells and Shelton Mallet (20 minutes), two lovely market towns. Castle Cary (17 minutes) nearest train station (collection can be arranged) Frome/bruton (30 minutes). Both beautiful Bath (40-50 minutes). The Newt (30 minutes) Babington House (40 minutes)
Also very well placed for lovely country walks, country pubs.
In a very small village so do recommend you have transport.

We had some phantastic days in Paul's house, cozy rooms, beautiful garden and landscape. Paul arranged everything to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Our bed room and bathroom were clean and well equipped. The beautiful winter garden was one of the highlights! Glastonbury is close, with all its charm and history. A supermarket is just around the corner. Looking forward to our next stay in Paul's B&B!
