There's a difference between somewhere that scores high on the tick boxes and one where you're made to feel completely at home. David and Pyae's home is one of those. It's impossible to define, but you leave with a warm heart, relaxed, refreshed and contented. Thank you both.

As a trans guy, it can be a challenge to find gay men that are so open minded and willing to ask questions! What an absolute delight: curious, different than the usual, an utterly accommodating and sweet couple! So happy to have stayed here, to know these guys just a bit and share in a few moments. The walls are paper thin (I can hear breath next to my head when I wake up in the middle of the night) but the heart is wildly warm and full of care! Totally happy with this off-the-beaten-path offering.

David was very welcoming and friendly and gave us all the details to find his boat. The room was clean and we were able to help ourselves to tea and coffee. Breakfast was included and we were able to come and go as we pleased. Well recommend for a more unique stay.

I had a very pleasant stay with David and Peay. Freedom is a very comfortable wide-beam canal boat. I slept on the bed-sofa, in the salon, which was fairly comfortable. There was another guest staying in the guest bedroom. David and Peay are very welcoming and we had lots of good conversation. The grand piano was a key highlight for me and I was able to play it a little, limited by time. David and Peay cooked very tasty food (dinner for an extra charge of £20, including wine). My only disappointment was the 10am check-out time. My departure, after the large breakfast that was provided, and lots of conversation with the other guest and David and Peay, felt very hurried, particularly on a Sunday morning. An 11am check-out (very much the normal in almost all other accommodation) would have been much preferred. Would you please consider permitting 11am check-outs in future.

Everything I expected it to be, great get away! David is a wonderful host and it was a pleasure staying in his beautiful home. It's a great place to read, journal, relax listening to your own music or to listen to David playing his piano. Would definitely go back.

It was my first time staying in a boat and it was an amazing experience staying at Freedom. David is a very welcoming host with an extraordinary energy and makes you feel like you were at home. He also prepares great meals with a fantastic presentation. We had nice chats along with good music played by him. I strongly recommend and I will be back for sure. Thank you David! :)

David is a great host an makes you very welcome. You can relax and dress how you feel comfortable including the naturist feel which is so welcoming. David makes a lovely dinner and breakfast which are always presented well. David is open and you can talk about anything which is great as he takes everyone interests admidey. I look forward to my return very much.
