Hey Guys, thanks for checking out the studio! It's in a great location. Just a five minute ride to Hillcrest- the gay community of San Diego. It's also very close to Balboa Park, the San Diego Zoo and a five minute walk to the 30th Street pub and restaurant scene. Professional guy here. Easy going, fun and always willing to accommodate.

We enjoyed a second terrific stay with Mark at Modern Lux. It is a spotless unit that is beautifully decorated, very comfortable, and easy to access.

We couldn't have asked for a nicer stay. The studio is beautifully finished with high-end fixtures and a very nice kitchen. The bed was super comfortable and Mark and his partner were great hosts. As we told them upon check-out, we'll definitely stay here next time we come to San Diego.

Big thanks to Mark and Jeff for a perfect stay in SD. Everything was exactly as advertised, bed is VERY comfortable, the space is roomy and well laid out and the location is very central to wherever you want to go. Mark and Jeff and lovely hosts and in general just really nice guys. We'd come back next time we're in SD without hesitation. Thanks guys... PS .. next time we'd love the cookie experience .. lol

I cannot recommend this place highly enough! Mark was the most amazing, kind, generous, helpful host I could have asked for and I cannot wait to come back and stay here again! The space is gorgeous, incredible ambiance, and the location is just fantastic. 10/10 would recommend!

Mark and Jeff were wonderful hosts, such a warm and inviting space. They made us feel so welcome, and had some gorgeous views overlooking the canyon. Glad to have made two new friends and looking forward to coming back!

Amazing!!! I have never felt more comfortable staying here! Mark and Jeff are the best host and are just amazing people in general! The home vibrates with love and positive energy. Inside and out the esthetics of the home are beautiful! That bed...that bed has been built with sorcery as I slept better in it than my own bed! The fresh baked cookie upon checking in was a great treat and added plus! It was nice ending the day looking out into the canyon. What a great location!💜💜💜

Mark and Jeff are amazing hosts. My husband and I were there for a conference and my birthday. They made us feel so welcomed from the chocolate chip cookies to the birthday present. The studio was immaculately clean. The refrigerator was stocked. Sitting on the deck with the fire pit on was amazing. We had some great chats with the guys. The location was great. There are so many fantastic restaurants that are within walking distance.

Mark and Jeff were great hosts. They were very personable and helpful and allowed me to check in a little bit earlier than scheduled which I greatly appreciated it. Location was 10 minutes from everywhere I needed to go during my trip to San Diego. The views over the canyon were absolutely amazing. Lots of restaurant options to choose from in the neighborhood. It is in a very quiet neighborhood with street parking available right in front of the house. Will definitely stay with Mark and Jeff again next time I'm in San Diego.
