No experience whatsoever. I was looking forward to staying at this place. I booked the place at 11am on the same day. Nonetheless, the host didn't reply until past 8pm, nine hours after. On top of this, the app never sent me a notification regarding the late confirmation in the evening. Who confirms a reservation at past 8pm? I needed to find a place to stay and I needed to go somewhere. I understand you need to book days in advance, but this was a last-minute reservation and the host failed to reply promptly and didn't care to charge me for a night I didn't spend at his place.

The mistake was yours, but you got your money back. When Misterbnb contacted me, they asked if it was possible to cancel the reservation and get a refund. I said they should refund him because he didn't stay. I'm an honest guy, and more than money, I value having good people around me. Even though it was his fault, he still hasn't reflected on it. But anyway, that's up to each individual. I'm at peace knowing the platform refunded his money since he didn't stay here. I think it's best to have people who only think about money around; it's not good. I hope he matures.

I did not get to meet Elvis during my stay but he still made sure I had all the information I needed, including a reliable taxi. The lodge is centrally located in Barranco with everything you could need in walking distance. His staff were friendly and helpful with whatever questions I had. I would like to stay here again.
