The Rosario Hill neighborhood is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Santa Fe. Many Spanish families owned large parcels here through grants by the Spanish King. Currently a diverse residential area, the neighborhood incorporates much older family homes next to renovated beauties such as the historic Downtown Mansion this casita belongs to. Across from Arroyo Mascras, the feeling is one of living right by a river with tall and gorgeous elm trees and queen of paradise trees lining the arrayo.
This is one of the casitas of a historic adobe Downtown mansion built in 1898. The compound went through renovations in ********. The 980 sqft space has central AC/heating and it includes a large master bedroom with a king size bed, a second bedroom with a full size bed and a queen size pull-out sofa-bed, plenty of closet space, a full kitchen and desk space for work travelers. Open concept living room and kitchen with dining space for four and lounge space for watching TV or simply getting the busy day out of your system with a nice fire in the wood fire place. The kitchen is equipped with a range oven, dishwasher, washer/dryer, coffee machine, microwave oven and electric toaster. The beautiful bathroom provides modern amenities while enveloping you in the old-world Santa Fe charm.
The dimmable LED lights help set the mood. A SPA humidifier and a variety of natural essences are for your use to restore rest and peace.
The master bedroom and the living room open up to the beautiful adobe courtyard offering the perfect setting for meditation or a sweet escape with coffee or a glass of wine. The small bedroom opens up to a small courtyard for your morning espresso or a quiet time with your book in the shade of the magnificent elm trees in the property.
Entertainment: The TV with XFinity service provides an endless line up of local and premier channels such as HBO. If that is not sufficient, the built-in AppleTV can be used with your AppleID to access all the content you are accustomed to in your own home or the Smart TV will help you access any on-line entertainment service you have an account for. The casita is equipped with high-speed internet.
The casita could be rented along with a 1 br studio and 3 br main house in the same compound if needed to combine accommodations and house a large group up to a total of 17 people. Inquiries are welcome.
