Please make sure to close all doors, turn off electric devices, shut off water and gas valves and take keys with you, when you exit your room, lost items of the property will be charged to your account. Lost keys will be charged $15 each. The wooden planks of the bridge to the studio in the garden get slippery when wet, please hold from the handrail to avoid any accidents. Please be careful when coming in and going out of the street gate to make sure our dogs are always kept inside the property. Always close the gate with its padlock. Our dogs are friendly with humans yet territorial, and no other pets are allowed inside the premises. We are located right next to an important national natural reserve, please keep in mind the potential presence of dangerous wild species, paying special attention to vipers and wasps. We encourage the use of insect repellent, especially during the rainy season. On a positive note, always beware and you might enjoy the sight of monkeys, deer, ocelots, toucans, hummingbirds, parakeets, and many other wild species. It is important to keep all food and beverages in closed containers. Keep garbage inside bins and take it out when it gets picked up, on Monday and Thursday mornings, please take the bags out by the entrance gate early in the morning when necessary. Local recycling includes glass, plastic, and metal, please remove those items and place them into the bin located by the back terrace. We like to keep quiet between 9pm. and 8 am. Outside on the back terrace, there is a rack with brooms and mop sticks. In your room, you will find a bucket with a starter of cleaning supplies. The ******** fee will be charged but not by us (hosts). No host should be handling ********. It is under the company policies to handle all payments. The ******** will be held by the Company, being the “middleman” for that insurance stuff. The ******** doesn’t go through us. You will be provided with microfiber shower towels (perform the best in the local weather conditions), if you have a different preference, please bring your own. Please let us know a couple of days in advance when you want to do clothes washing and we will coordinate the access to the laundry room, please keep in mind the high humidity of the rainy season, it makes the drying better and faster in the sunny mornings, we are conscientious about the energy use, the optional use of the dryer machine is limited to two loads per week. Our dogs, Noche and Onix are members of the family. They have their vaccinations. They are older dogs, and prancing around like puppies will rarely happen, they are the same age, grew up together, and think as a pack, we do not allow other pets on the premises to prevent unwanted encounters.
