THUISHAVEN is our beautiful, boutique adults-only resort at Kaya Grote Berg, just outside Willemstad, Curaçao. We welcome all genders and sexualities! We are situated nearby the island’s most gorgeous beaches, but it's just a short drive to the city center of Willemstad. During your stay in one of our [THUIS]HAVEN studios, you can enjoy our colourful, artfully lit private garden, as well as our large pool with attached bar and lounge areas. A short drive away the hotspots of Willemstad and Curaçao’s lovely nature await your exploration.
Thuishaven is gay-owned - we live on-site - and welcomes relatively many queer guests. We allow nude swimming and sunbathing, but we do ask our guests to wear something the rest of the time.
We have seven apartments and studios - mostly for two persons, but we do have an apartment for 4 persons as well.

[THUIS]HAVEN is ideally situated to be the safe haven from which you explore the beauty of the western part of the island. A mere 15 minutes’ drive away is Cas Abao Beach, listed as one of the top 21 most beautiful beaches of the world by National Geographic. Our favourite beaches include Porto Marie and Playa Daaibooi. There’s no exclusively gay beach yet. But maybe that’s something we can change in the next year(s)
Close by in Willemstad are plenty of shops, wonderful restaurants, museums and bars. There’s a few small supermarkets a few minutes away, while large supermarkets are a 10 minute drive away.

Thuis Haven was the perfect place for a much needed recharge of our batteries and some Winter sun. A much higher level of service than you would expect in a self catered apartment, and the hosts couldn't do more for you. Thank you.

My husband and I recently stayed at this property for a week. We preferably book men only and clothing optional properties. We lucked out when finding this property as it happened to be a mens only week. I got a tour of some of the other rooms and each room is unique. The property is centrally located on the island so nothing is to far of a drive. There are some great restaurants close by. Martijn and his partner were great host. We will definitely be back to this beautiful property and island.
