The Reveal

Ranch-style 3-bedroom, 2-bath home with no neighbors, attached garage (currently used for storage), lots of parking. Pull-through circular drive for travelers with trailers or large vehicles. Private bedroom with full-size bed and full bath available for guests. Additional beds are available in semi-private and shared spaces.

I work full-time (from home) so I am around all day, most days but I expect my guests to be comfortable on their own for much of their stay. I am happy to provide breakfast and enjoy visiting local restaurants with my guests. I'm a terrible cook but I do have a fairly good assortment of kitchen appliances and cookware and will stock up on whatever supplies you request.

You may spot wildlife - I feed stray animals, which include wandering cats, raccoons, and a family of foxes that nest under bushes in the front yard. I chase away deer and 'possums. Skunks have to be evicted on occasion. Armadillos have been seen as well.

Middle of April I brought one cat indoors to have her kittens and she is still here - along with the litter box. Current on all shots.

IT professional who works from home and is a home nudist. Past activities have included bagpiping, genealogy, hiking/camping, exploring. Introverted, but enjoy meeting people and learning new things. Currently struggling to learn Spanish on my own (using Duolingo) and dealing with the joy and challenge of home ownership. Not religious, but acknowledge the value of spirituality in daily life - dabbling with tantric massage. When I indulge in music it will be somewhere between Moody Blues and Beethoven. I enjoy the occasional beer - no wine or any hard liquor. I have never smoked or used drugs of any kind.

IMPORTANT! I have acquired a mama cat and 3 almost-adult kittens, currently 9 months old. They are not allowed in the guest bedroom or guest bath, but even so if you have allergies you have been warned. Not wheelchair-accessible, no smoking indoors. 420-tolerant but discouraged - please enjoy it outdoors. Clothing is permitted, no explanation is necessary. Personally, I am very sex-positive. Mutual respect and consideration in all areas are essential to a satisfying and enjoyable host/guest experience. I list on other sites and am careful to keep my calendar current.

David is a very friendly host and flexible when transportation issues changed my arrival time. The casual atmosphere suited my needs perfectly. The room and bathroom were clean and good sized. The quiet of the country setting was lovely. Fresh ground coffee in the morning was a treat.

My second visit to David's home in the country was just as good as my first. David is a great communicator and host. His home is really in the country but close to Athens and UGA. Highly recommended!

David's house at the quiet country setting is exactly as described. The property is very quiet, allowing for a good night's sleep. It is close enough to Athens for a selection of interesting restaurants and is also close to UGA campus. David did great with communication and he is a terrific host. A stay at his house is like visiting a friend. Highly recommended!

David is a great host for the suite of rooms in this house out in the country. Communication was speedy & thorough and every aspect of his hospitality was top notch. I only regret that, with my conference at the university, I didn't have more time to spend with David, but our casual mornings were great.

David was a wonderful host, gracious and attentive to any needs. We enjoyed chatting over a wide range of topics while sharing his interesting past. His home is in a country setting but only 10 minutes from restaurants and a ********. I left with a hug and felt I made a new friend.
