Chris and Rob's house is so beautiful, comfortable, stylish, and relaxed. They couldn't have made me feel more welcome. I loved spending time with them both. The village and general area around their house is incredibly bucolic, lovely for walking, nature, peace and quiet. Can't wait to stay again.
The Home was as described, tranquil and off the beaten track. Unfortunately I was later than I wanted to arrive and the area is lacking in phone / data coverage so make sure you have set your sat nav. Chris let me in and showed me to a very nice room with adjacent shower room. I did not get to meet Rob. A very nice breakfast was laid out in the private kitchen in the morning. Communication was good with Chris from the start and he also advised my route back out in the morning. Would recommend
It was a pleasure to stay with Chris & Rob, plus the bonus of the 2 resident dogs, Wesley and Alfie! A warm welcome to a very comfortable and well equipped bed/sitting room, spacious shower room and the use of an adjacent guest kitchen. All the essentials had been provided and the very fluffy towels top quality. There is a very private and beautiful garden too. The hosts were not intrusive and kindly invited me to their own sitting room for a chat and a glass of wine. There is a nice pub/restaurant within walking distance so despite the rural location it was not isolated. Thank you both for the lovely stay. I have no hesitation in recommending this to other travellers.
We had a wonderful stay at Chris and Rob's. We had a spacious room and bath with wonderful amenities in their charming home in a magical location. Two days was not enough time to enjoy the peace and tranquility of their area. We enjoyed chatting with Chris and Rob and getting to know them better. We enjoyed our evening walks to a local pub in their village for dinner and drinks. If you're looking for a place to unwind and get away, this is this place to go! Hopefully we will visit them again and stay longer next time!
A great stay in a beautiful and very comfortable property with very attentive hosts. Chris and Rob provide a very warm welcome and I would definitely hope to return before too long.
What a delightful place to stay. Chris and Rob were the perfect hosts and their communication leading up to my stay was excellent. They have a beautiful house and my bedroom was immaculately clean as was my own private bathroom. The garden area is beautifully maintained and is the perfect place to sit or lay back and relax. They prepared me a wonderful breakfast in the morning there was more to choose from if I wanted to add to it. I would whole heartedly recommend Chris and Rob and their beautiful house to anyone. Many thanks guys.
Quality! Undoubtedly, where style and sophistication meets rest and relaxation. Every comfort offered. Chris and Rob are consummate hosts engaging with warmth, wit and intelligence. To answer the question as per 'four-in-a-bed' (not that there was anything like that many here 😀), we would return to stay again. Our thanks, gents! Tony & Ian
