A walled garden oasis in Johannesburg. For those looking for a tranquil, private venue with a chilled quirky/artsy vibe, I highly recommend this property. I arrived in the middle of an afternoon rainstorm, but host Paul braved the weather to welcome me at the gate and get me sorted. My villa was spotless, the bed comfy. Great open plan shower, with a stoep that walks onto a pristine pool with lots of room to catch sunshine. Abundance of light and colour. The large treed garden has all sorts of nooks and sculpture to explore. Would make a great weekend getaway for a bunch of friends. I walked around the neighbourhood and felt safe. Ubers for nighttime are easy to get though. Just a 2 minute Uber ride from Rosebank Gautrain station. There is a Woolworths Food just five minutes walk away and a variety of restaurants, wine bars and cafes, with excellent baristas, in the area. I will definitely look up this venue the next time I'm in Joburg. Thanks Paul and team.
