A room in a well located small aparment, perfect for 1. Located in a historically important and preserved building from 1937, only a short walk away from heart of Reykjavík (5 min), the old harbor and "fish packing district" Grandi (5 min) and popular local swimming pool Vesturbæjarlaug (3 min). Short distance from all services, supermarkets and cafés.
(Normally the guests have the whole apartment to them selves but the host might stay first or last night.)

Over the past 10 years, I have has organized and run several major cultural events in Iceland. I was the first festival director of DesignMarch, Iceland’s most important annual design festival and now acts as the festival’s chairman. I directed the Ísafjördur-based rock festival Aldrei fór ég suður in its founding years, RIFF – The Reykjavik International Film Festival, was project manager at the Reykjavik Art Festival as well as Ting, Nordic Art Festival and Tectonics Reykjavik Music Festival. I ve been the managing director for Vid Djupid since 2006.
I worked as a project manager for the Iceland Symphony Orchestra overseeing new projects and development as well as he acted as the orchestra’s concert director one season.
Originally from Ísafjördur, but live and work in Reykjavik, Iceland.

Great accommodations in a cozy apartment, conveniently located in the Reykjavik city center. The room is private and comfortable for a solo traveler. Greipur was a friendly host—very communicative and helpful throughout my stay. Would recommend.

Greupir was the absolute best host! He worked with me to book super last minute, offered incredible location recommendations, tips and tricks. He felt like a fast friend, where we even shared conversation and a drink while I was there. The apartment has everything you need to feel comfortable, safe, and be near the city center. Would highly recommend and look forward to visiting Iceland again and staying with Greupur!
