Welcome to **The Cottage Inn at Amos Lake**, a peaceful adults-only boutique inn set in a beautifully restored 1804 farmhouse in Preston, Connecticut.

Our five private guest suites each feature a king bed, private ensuite bathroom, individual climate control, high-speed Wi-Fi, and a large flat-screen TV. Guests can relax while enjoying scenic views of our vineyard, gardens, winery pond, and Amos Lake.

The Cottage is designed as a quiet retreat for adults. **Individual suite reservations are adults-only — no children or teenagers — allowing our guests to truly unwind and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.**

Our **24/7 freestyle self-serve breakfast** lets you enjoy breakfast whenever it suits you. Our shared kitchen is stocked with bagels, cereals, fresh and seasonal fruit, breakfast bars, coffee, tea, juice, bottled water, and other convenient breakfast selections.

Spend some time outdoors exploring the property, relaxing on one of our patios, walking through the vineyard, sitting beside the winery pond, or enjoying the lakefront. Amos Lake offers opportunities for kayaking, paddleboarding, fishing, and simply enjoying the scenery.

Although our winery and tasting room are currently closed for renovations, The Cottage is perfectly located for exploring the **Connecticut Wine Trail and Southern New England**. We are approximately five minutes from **Foxwoods Resort Casino**, ten minutes from **Mohegan Sun**, and an easy drive to **Mystic Seaport, Mystic Aquarium, Olde Mistick Village, local vineyards, Connecticut shoreline attractions, and Rhode Island beaches.**

For families, friends, wedding groups, and small gatherings, we also offer a **Whole House Rental**, which includes all five private suites along with the shared living, dining, and kitchen areas. Our adults-only policy does **not** apply when the entire house is privately rented.

Whether you are planning a casino weekend, wine-country getaway, Mystic adventure, romantic escape, or simply looking for somewhere quiet to relax, The Cottage Inn at Amos Lake offers a comfortable home base surrounded by the beauty of southeastern Connecticut.

## House Rules To help ensure a comfortable and peaceful stay for everyone at The Cottage Inn at Amos Lake, we ask all guests to follow these house rules: **1. No Smoking** The Cottage Inn is a **100% smoke-free property indoors**. Smoking is permitted only outside and well away from the house, patios, entrances, and any open windows where smoke could affect other guests. **2. Registered Guests Only** Only guests included in the reservation are permitted to stay overnight or occupy a guest room. Please do not bring additional visitors onto the property without prior approval. If you have a question about a visitor, please contact us before their arrival. **3. No Parties or Events** Parties, gatherings, and events are not permitted with individual room reservations. Because common areas may be shared with other guests, everyone is expected to respect the peaceful atmosphere of the Inn. Different arrangements may apply to approved **Whole House Rentals**. **4. No Pets** The Cottage Inn maintains a **no-pet policy**. This helps us provide a clean and comfortable environment for guests who may have allergies or sensitivities to animals. **5. Quiet & Considerate Environment** The Cottage is intended to be a peaceful place to relax. Please be considerate of other guests in both private rooms and shared areas. Keep televisions, phones, music, and other devices at a reasonable volume and avoid loud conversations or disruptive activity, particularly during evening and overnight hours.
