Countryside Lodge close to Stonehenge, Salisbury & Bath

Relax with family or friends at this peaceful place to stay. Close to Stonehenge, Salisbury, Bath and Marlborough.

The Lodge is a welcoming countryside home, offering space for up-to six adults. There are two bedrooms, a large sofa bed in the lounge, full kitchen and bathroom as well as inside and outside dining areas.

There are great transport links to nearby towns and the lovely Wiltshire countryside, and plenty to do in the immediate area, as well as two great pubs in walking distance!

Once entering the Lodge through the front door, the hallway has storage space for coats and shoes. There is a door through to a full bathroom which includes walk-in shower, full bath, toilet, sink, storage space, heated towel radiator and a mirror with shaving point. Through the hallway to the rest of the ground floor there is a full kitchen and dining area, two bedrooms with king size bed and wall-mounted smart TV in one, and two singles which can be made into a king size in the second room.

The staircase will take you to the first floor which has wonderful views across the neighbouring water meadow and the river Avon. The lounge has a large sofa which can be a bed for two adults, as well as two arm chairs and a coffee table. The room has a Smart HD TV, books, board games and an X-Box for gaming and movies. There are patio doors which lead out onto the wooden balcony and staircase which wraps around the Lodge and back down to the patio and parking areas.

The Lodge is separate from our home, with its own front door and entrance hall. The path from the parking area is flat and step free, the path is lit. There is one step up into the Lodge as you’ll see in the photos.

A keysafe is provided for remote check in, and you’ll be able to reach us by phone or messaging via ********.

There are often cows in the neighbouring water meadow, and we have chickens which free range so dogs will need to be kept under control and on a lead when near the animals please.

We live in the house next door with our friendly dog called Nala, and we’re on the same plot - although the properties are both self contained.

The Lodge is within the Salisbury Plain military training area, which can be heard occasionally during the day.

We are conveniently located by the Salisbury Road, which carries traffic between the A303 to Pewsey Vale and beyond. As such, you may hear some road noise, especially during rush hour periods.
