This quiet one room oasis is nestled in the heart of South Park. Walk to the many amazing restaurants, shops, and hangouts that make South Park the most sought out place to be. Close to the historic Hillcrest gay district, Balboa Park, the World Famous San Diego Zoo, Gaslamp district and, North Park. A short drive to the beach makes this the perfect place for your stay.
Tranquil "shared" back yard retreat features Hot Tub, Fire Pit, BBQ and Dining area. Private use available by request.

This is a no-smoking property and we request that you smoke off property only. Your stay will be in a private "casita" type space located next to our main residence. The back yard is a shared space that we occasionally use to have our coffee or BBQ our dinner. You may reserve private use of the Hot Tub or fire pit during your stay. We will not interrupt your use during those times. Otherwise you may see us out back but we will not intrude on your privacy. Feel free to say hi and chat if you desire or nod and keep to yourself. We will honor your choices. Feel free to use any of the items located in the bedroom and bathroom. There's a mini-fridge/freezer, microwave, and iron/ironing board located in the closet. Coffee provided for your morning use as well as glasses for wine and drinks on the patio. Please, no glass in the hot tub. We encourage you to enjoy your stay, but be mindful that we share this space in our quiet neighborhood.

Absolutely perfect! Frank was a great host. The guest space was clean & cool, and the backyard & hot tub were nice. The neighborhood is the perfect mix of quiet but near everything. We'll be staying here again.

This was our second stay at the South Park Hideaway and there will be more in the future. It is perfectly located, central to everything we wanted to do. The shared outdoor space is an oasis. Frank is a courteous and gracious host.

Although we never met, Frank was great through in-app chat comms. The property is small, quaint and beautiful. The hot tub is wonderful and potentially the cleanest one I have been in. Everything you need is provided from keurig's to wine glasses and corkscrews and a small desk perfect for setting up your hors d'oeuvres and opening a bottle of wine to enjoy in the outdoor gardens. The bed is comfortable in the sheets are luxurious. Thank you Frank, we hope to stay again! Steve & Joshua

Frank's place is a great jumping off point for a weekend stay. We appreciated the ease of coming and going and easy street parking. We felt safe and welcomed to make use of the outdoor space when we wanted. The bedroom is tight, but we felt that was made clear in advance.

Franks place is peaceful while still in the heart of things. The room was nice and clean and the outside garden is very nice and private. Frank was always fast to respond to any questions that we may have had and the stay was amazing. I will be heading back to San Deigo in a few weeks and will book this spot again!!! Thanks for a great get away vacation Frank!
