Axel Hotels, the first LGBTQIA+ hotel chain in the world, continues its expansion with Axel Hotel Bilbao, a safe place designed by and for LGBTQIA+ people where you can be yourself, without fear and without complexes.

The new Axel Hotel Bilbao is born in what was the old flour factory in Calle Muelle de la Merced number 3, on the banks of the estuary and in the heart of the Old Town.

It is a building with a strong industrial character with huge windows, materials gleaming in copper and undulating metal structures in its restaurant, through which you can see everything that happens in the wellness area with gym, jacuzzi, sauna, hammam and massage cabins. Its 110 rooms are welcoming and open to the estuary through the wardrobe and blend in with the green color of its waters.

On the rooftop you can see the entire Old Town, including the estuary, and it has a retractable cover which unfolds when it's cold. Here, on the 7th floor, there is a solarium, a swimming pool and a food bar with a menu of pintxos and drinks that make it the meeting place and without labels in Bilbao to enjoy the unique vibe of Axel Hotel.
