Best location ever! Jarno as a host was amazing! He is very friendly and informative offering suggestions and directions. His apartment was fully equipped with everything to feel right at home. This was a perfect choice and I would definitely stay here again."

The room has, in my opinion, everything necessary. Within the area where it is located, it is very well situated and connected. Although there hasn't been much interaction, both have been polite at all times and, of course, on my part totally in love with their dog."

Peter·5·Jun. 2026· "Although I didn't end up staying overnight after all (the business colleague I had dinner with insisted I stay with him and his wife...), David's communication and the check in process were flawless. The room - whilst small - was perfect for what I needed (a place to sleep) and clean and tidy. I did have a chance to chat with David when I initially arrived and he was very friendly and helpful.
Would definitely recommend."

For some reason, on ******** Maps the address link takes you 5 minutes away, I do not know why as it is the correct address but that was not a great start.
Being charged 7 Eur for laundry was irritating as this is not mentioned on the listing, just that washer was available. I was then told off for not bringing the laundry in despite no instructions given.
I was not invited to use the kitchen or fridge.
Did not feel very welcome."

Jon·5·May. 2026· "Attending a wedding at Middleton Lodge, this listing ticked all the required boxes. Melsonby is a hidden village, quiet and peaceful, yet minutes away from the motorway. Paul was more than happy to allow me access to his home, despite him not being around to welcome me. He's an outdoorsy guy - really well travelled too - and was leading a local group of walkers in all the magnificence of the immediate countryside. His home is comfortable and I had a great nights sleep. And in the morning, I was able to leisurely 'get ready' for the celebrations ahead. Thanks Paul."
