There are very few places that not only exceeded our expectations but left us awestruck by the shear beauty of the surroundings. Despite being remote, our accommodations were very comfortable, chic and well appointed. Every detail has been thoughtfully curated by Gerrit to meet a guest's needs. It's truly an oasis of tranquility. Gerrit is also an amazing cook. Our only regret is that we did not stay longer. I recommend staying as long as your gracious host will allow.

Gerrit is a super nice person, as soon as we arrived at his beautiful home, we felt instantly relaxed and comfortable.. The property is ideally situated for a truly relaxing time in a totally get a way from it all environment.. Gerrit as a host and the accommodation he provides is second to none.. Will definitely be returning when we next visit South Africa..

This was a unique and wonderful experience. Gerrit's warm welcome was only outdone by that of the pets – three of the most friendly dogs and a cat that will try to sleep with you, if you will let him. It was definitely a get-away-from-it-all, relaxing experience, a beautiful oasis in the desert.
