Firstly, one week before arrival I was asked to accept a different apartment in another area of town (Turtle bay) due to a leakage. In my first day in this other apartment I found several cockroaches crawling in the kitchen. Only the following day came a pest control team to take care of it. After making a request I received a small compensation. Still, it was in all a stressful experience."

Cris is an excellent host, on the first day she showed me everything I needed to move around the neighborhood and gave me very useful advice. The location is also good because you have the metro nearby and all the basic things you need at hand: supermarket, pharmacy, bars,... With Flamengo beach and its excellent park for walking or practicing sports less than 10 minutes walk away and halfway between the city center and neuralgic area and the beaches and entertainment areas like Copacabana or Ipanema. If I return to Rio I would definitely stay at her house again"

The apartment is well located, close to a number of historical places, independent shops, businesses and some great Michelin star restaurants. Sadly, my stay was too short and I didn't have enough time to visit all. Next time!
Jennifer, my host, is great and very knowledgeable about her village and the surrounding areas. Jennifer's friendliness and warmth made my stay absolutely perfect. I will definitely stay in this apartment again, if available, as its perfect for both short stays as well as a longer vacations. I can't recommend this apartment highly enough."

Keith·5·Oct. 2023· "Had a wonderful stay in Siracusa. Samantha's apartment was the perfect place to stay; smart, clean, well-appointed and provided with everything we could want. Samantha was unfailingly helpful to the point of noticing the weather was changing and ensuring we would be warm enough. Everything went very smoothly but be aware phone reception can be spotty, ensure you have a good signal when you arrive. Siracusa is a delight and the apartment perfectly located, outside the tourist area but close to the town. We recommend very highly indeed."
