If you have never been to Hawaiʻi before, Aloha is a word you will quickly come to know and hear often. It is much more than a greeting. It reflects a way of life rooted in respect, care, connection, and community.
Kevin and I are both California natives and veterans. I served in the U.S. Army, and Kevin served in the U.S. Air Force. We grew up just 15 minutes from each other, yet our paths never crossed until much later, here in Hawaiʻi.
My early years were not easy. I was raised as a Jehovah’s Witness and, as a teenager, was disfellowshipped and disowned by my family. I found myself homeless and deeply hopeless at a time when I needed support most. Joining the Army gave me structure, stability, and a way forward.
In 2020, during the COVID pandemic, Kevin and I matched on ******** Dating. What began as long video calls during lockdown quickly grew into something real. We have been stuck with each other ever since and were recently engaged on January 1, 2026.
Real estate has long been a passion of mine, but Hawaiʻi taught me something more important than location. What made this place home was the people. I was welcomed, embraced, and introduced to the idea of hānai family, chosen family built through care and connection.
In my downtime, I am a homebody who enjoys design, DIY projects, and creating comfortable, intentional spaces. I am always happy to share local tips and hope you experience the warmth of Hawaiʻi the way I did.
