There is a community fire pit nearby where we met new friends. Location is just a short walk to the downtown area, and a bit removed from the raucousness there. When we were there, the pool was under construction and not available."

The historic building for the most part has been kept up, but there are areas where maintenance is needed. It's a bit dark and gloomy, even spooky in a "The Shining" sort of way, but that might be a draw for some."

Richard·5·Jan. 2018· "Davis' mountain top log cabin was an incredible experience. Three stories of rustic charm! The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and had everything we needed. The second floor had two nice bedrooms and a shower with two heads. But the third floor was the place to be. Beautiful views from the mountain top, a jacuzzi, and king sized bed. The surrounding property was fun to home. Our dog, Luna, love all the space. Davis was a great host. Even though we didn't get to meet him, he was always available if we needed info or assistance. We will definitely be going back. We absolutely loved this cabin!"
