Although Ming had to work very intensively on a project, he always took the time in the evening to tell us something about life in China and answer our questions. One day he even showed us his residential area and invited us to brunch in a wonderful restaurant at the end. The residential area is pleasant with many small shops and small bars. Ming's apartment is very central and had everything we needed. We can only recommend the room and the host."

Tommy is also a very welcoming and friendly guy who offers me many trip advice, such as clubs and restaurants. I had a great experience there. Highly recommended."

Gregory·5·Apr. 2026· "Joachim was a great host and his apartment has everything you need: a separate bedroom and bathroom, kitchen access and good views of Shanghai. Everything was very clean. I managed to walk from his place to all of Shanghai's main attractions. Joachim had a helpful list of what to see and do and he ended up spending a good chunk of time with me, showing me the sights. No idea what I would have done without his guidance. I came as a guest and left as a friend. I highly recommend him and his place!"

The check-in should be optimised and the place needs a bit of more cleaning and preparation, but it was good enough so I would stay again for the same price for sure. Thanks Jerry!"

The bed is comfortable, the room is very clean, the rest of the apartment leaves something to be desired. The animals are friendly and not intrusive at all. If you're not bothered by animal odors, the place will surely suit you given its location and interesting price"
