My name is Song. I am an architect just relocated back from London. Currently, there is a Mezzanine is available for rent. I stay alone in this loft. if you are willing to long term stay here then you will share the loft with me.
The loft has 3 floors. the entry hall at the ground floor only 7 sqm, which placed a wash machine with dry function in the cabinet, the shoes cabinet at right side of entry door.
A Heritage stair lead to main living space, a open kitchen and dining associate with the living area. the bedroom next the kitchen where I stay, and the bathroom next to the kitchen.
The balustrade free stairs up to the mezzanine where is available for rent. the mezzanine is a open space link to the living area, but you can keep privacy by a curtain. It is a quite generous space with sky light.
The location is very convenient for shopping, F&B and Entertainment. it was newly republished by myself.
I have Ayi (cleaner) who comes daily basis. she will clean up the entire loft and all the laundry.

Ming is a reliable and well organized host, so the check in and check out went smoothly. Although Ming had to work very intensively on a project, he always took the time in the evening to tell us something about life in China and answer our questions. One day he even showed us his residential area and invited us to brunch in a wonderful restaurant at the end. The residential area is pleasant with many small shops and small bars. Ming's apartment is very central and had everything we needed. We can only recommend the room and the host.

The apartment is ideally located in a very central and very nice area. Song is a lovely host who gave me a lot of information about the city, museums, places to visit ... I highly recommend this place.

Song's place in a bargain! Great location in the middle of the trendy and centrally located French Concession area. You get an interesting and creatively renovated old "townhome" in a place you least expected it. The place was fairly clean and quite comfortable. Song had to go on a last minute business trip so I did not get to meet him until my last night in town. He, however, made himself available for any questions. You'd be lucky to stay here and meet a very interesting fellow.

This was a great stay in a character filled loft in the historic French quarter of the city. It was clean; had a comfortable bed and opened onto lovely streets with good shopping and food. It is a bit of a walk to the metro, but the bus to the bund is very close. Ming was very helpful but wasn't there much during our stay; when he was he is very interesting and pleasant to talk to.

Beautiful charming loft with outstanding location. Ming Zhong is an architect and it shows! He is also an outstanding, well-organized and interesting guest, always eager to help. A great experience!

I stay at Ming place for one week, and it was a great experience. His place was super clean, the bed is very comfortable, and the place is very quiet, so I slept very well. The bedroom is small but perfect if you travel alone or a close couple hehehe. Very charming place very well renovated. The location is perfect for shopping around. The subway access are about 5 minutes walk, so perfect to travel in the city. A lot of good restaurants and bars around in the French Concession. Regards to the gay bars, you have to take a taxi, but cost around $3-$5 dollars. I did feel safe in the area, and honestly in all the city. His place is in little close area where is super safe and you get the Chinese feeling. (great). only good things about my experience!!

Nice place to stay in the French Concession in Shanghai. Ming did a great job with this old traditional housing. A lot of good and trendy restaurants and bars in the neighborhood. And close to the subway, from where you can discover the rest of Shanghai

Really enjoyed my stay at Song's place. Such a fun, charming district. The loft is brilliantly located in terms of restaurants and bars, shopping and transport, and you couldn't ask for a more gracious host than Song. I was given a very warm welcome with delicious tea, made the traditional Chinese way. Evidence of Song's architectural flair is all around his home, and this helps provide a unique experience.
