Edgar was kind, accessible, spoke excellent English, room was fine, simple; however I relocated after a taxi driver, an Uber driver, a police pat-down & search just in front of the place (while waiting for an Uber) - all told me it was too dangerous to be here. I am very fair-skinned/white and blond ("mono" they tell me) so I'm sure that makes me a target. So, I felt best to be in the center of the old city."

I loved the neighborhood: very safe, quiet at night, and close to a couple of excellent seafood restaurants, easy to walk and enjoy the waterfront with the old fortified walls.
