As the Winter season is about to start, it's time to book your gay ski event! Here is our selection of gay ski weeks around the world.
The season's opening: Arosa Gay Ski Week
The European gay ski season traditionally starts in Arosa, in the heart of the Swiss Alps, at the beginning of January. The event's 10th edition takes place January 12-19. There are a lot of skiing, parties, and events to warm up after skiing. One week's highlight is the Downhill Costume Race, a slalom in the most extravagant and funny outfits.

The Frenchiest: European Snow Pride
The second edition of France's biggest gay ski event is in Tignes March 22-29. A 100% privatized 4-star hotel, more than 300 kilometers of slopes, a giant pool party, parties and clubbing events.
The other French week: the European Gay Ski Week
Could there be fiercer competition between two former partners? The European Gay Ski Week will occur precisely on the dates of the European Snow Pride but at l'Alpe d'Huez, March 22-29. Many gay clubbing events are confirmed: We Party, GMF, Trade, Rapido, or Hustlaball.

The most « German »: Gay Snow Happening
In Tyrol, Sölden Resort is one of the biggest Austrian ski resorts. It hosts every year the Gay Snow Happening, a whole week of fun-packed skiing events and parties. The 16th edition takes place March 22-29. Among all events, the « Forever Tel Aviv meets Sexy Cologne » party. The new program of Tel Aviv Gay Pride 2014 will be presented for the very first time during the event.
The most famous Aspen Gay Ski Week
The gay ski week was invented in Aspen, Colorado, in the late 70s. This American ski resort has since been one of the most significant winter gay events in the U.S. During this year's edition, January 12-19, Aspen Gay Ski Week will celebrate equality with the largest and highest-elevation same-sex group civil union ceremony in the U.S.
The best? : Telluride Gay Ski Week
Voted Top Gay Ski Week in the U.S. by Gay.com. The next edition is from February 21 to March 2.

In the Pyrenees: Snow Gay 2014
This is the 3rd edition of this event organized on the French side of the Pyrenees, not far from Andorra, March 13-16.

In the French Alps, Flaine ski resort launches « After Together,» a gay-friendly week of after-ski events, February 1-7.
Also in the French Alps is the so-called Principauté de Comborcière (the Principality of Comborciere) in La Toussuire. This mountain chalet has been a haven for gays and lesbians for years during winter. Book your 100% male week (January 18-25, March 22-29) or a 100% female week (January 25 – February 1).
