The 24th Gay Pride of Lyon, locally called “Marche des Fiertés LGBTI” will be held on June 15, 2019. The parade is organized, as every year, by the Lesbian and Gay Pride of Lyon organization with many unions, political parties, LGBT and gay friendly human rights and trade associations. This pride event gathers people from Lyon but also the whole Rhône-Alpes and Auvergne regions.
The following is the event program of another pride edition. Stay tuned for the 2021 program.
The official Lyon Gay Pride Parade will kick off from Place Bellecour at 2pm. It will then make a square through the city center, traveling along Pont Bonaparte, Quai de Bondy, Quai Jean Moulin, and then Pont de la Guillotière, before finishing things up back at Place Bellecour at 5pm. Following this, there will be a celebration, with beverage options.
Organizations wishing to participate in the 2019 Lyon Gay Pride parade with a float are invited to contact the organizers on the official site of Lyon Gay Pride.
