Looking for a room in Lyon (with a single bed): Here is a functional space, ideal for a short stay in a small apartment. I'm available if needed, while I'm busy in the apartment or nearby. You will have a small bedroom with the possibility of isolating yourself in the room with a glass door and curtain overlooking the living room. You'll also be able to use a small office area with storage for your belongings. Bed linen and a towel are provided. The apartment is shared with a small bathroom and kitchen. The living room is furnished with plants and a discreet parakeet. A wifi connection is available. In the heart of Lyon: Terreaux, bas des Pentes/Croix Rousse, quai du rhone, Saône riverfront are all within walking distance. You'll be able to visit the district's rich history and its many walking trails. The apartment is on the 5th floor of an old building (no elevator), which you'll appreciate for its calm and easy access to the city center. Feel free to come and go as you please.

Transport access: - Hôtel de Ville, Louis Pradel metro station is a 7-minute walk away (30 minutes by metro from Gare de la Pardieu, 20-30 minutes by bus C13-C3). - Terreaux underground parking lot nearby (€3 for 60 minutes during the day / €8 for the night).

The area is very lively. There are plenty of restaurants, bars and local shops (as well as cinemas in the Terreaux district). There are good restaurants to suit all budgets: "Chez Albert" and "La Gargotte" are my favorites, offering good food and a friendly welcome. The banks of the Saone and Rhone rivers are also very pleasant in all seasons. The Parc de la tête d'Or is a popular walking area (30 minutes' walk from my accommodation).

Jean Marc is very cheerful and attentive. The room is well-equipped with a desk, charging ports for phone, mobile or other devices, as well as a heated mattress! The apartment is pleasant with plants and a parakeet. Thank you very much.

It's true that the 5 floors are not as easy to climb as they were a few years ago, but the quiet atmosphere is worth discovering. Jean Marc is a welcoming host who knows how to take care of things and provide ******** necessary for a good stay. Right in the center of Lyon but peaceful. Thank you for the welcome.

I had a lovely 4 night stay with Jean-Marc in Nov 2024. The apartment is very centrally-located with a lot to see and do nearby. Professionally he works as a massage therapist with a studio near the apartment. I took advantage of booking a massage at his office before leaving town and it was great. As a host he's very helpful, friendly, and gave me all the space and privacy I wanted. A recommended stay!

Jean was incredibly helpful and very kind, like a true friend. He made me an excellent soup in the evening when he noticed I had a cold, and in the morning he woke up early to walk me to the metro. Apartment on the sixth floor with no elevator, a bit tiring if you have luggage. I hope to return soon

Jean Marc has a small but charming apartment in the centre of Old Lyon. Full of amazing plants. He has upmarket massage rooms nearby but unfortunately I had no time for a massage. A good place to stay in Lyon as the host is so nice.
