I offer you a bright, comfortable 12 m2 private room in a quiet house in the hamlet of Châtelonnière in Saint-Nicolas-de-Macherin. The location is ideal for travelers seeking rest, nature, or local discoveries off the beaten track.

I live alone in the house and will be delighted to chat with you if you wish, or to give you your privacy according to your preferences.
The house is a 15-minute drive from Voiron, 40 minutes from Grenoble, 1 hour from Lyon and Chambéry, and 1.5 hours from Annecy. It's also close to the lakes of Paladru (15 min), Aiguebelette (40 min) and the Chartreuse massif.
The surrounding hills are also ideal for walking.

A true gem and a magnificent surprise for me! Romain welcomes you to a charming little house nestled in the heart of a small hamlet, surrounded by nature. The setting is peaceful and rejuvenating, with a lovely guinguette-style terrace where it's pleasant to relax after a day of exploration. If you're looking for calm, tranquility and a real escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, this accommodation is for you. But the real cherry on the cake is undoubtedly the host. Romain is a welcoming, generous, approachable and deeply authentic person. Passionate about mountains, hiking, canyoning and climbing, he knows his region perfectly and takes immense pleasure in sharing his advice, his most beautiful itineraries and his love of this territory. There are people who merely pass through your life, but leave a lasting impression. Romain is unquestionably one of them. And to end on a more personal note: his heart is still available! Lucky will be the one who wins the jackpot by winning over this extraordinary character. His kindness, generosity and authenticity make him a rare person. I recommend this accommodation with my eyes closed. You will find much more than just a place to sleep here: a genuine human connection.

Great stay at Romain's : ) The house is located in a quiet hamlet. The house is large and clean, you sleep very well there! Romain is responsive by message, very friendly, and gave me a warm welcome. We had a good chat together and he gave me great tips for visiting his region which he knows very well! I would be delighted to return if I'm passing through the area : )
