The Imperial Hotel

The Imperial is one of Sydney's most iconic LGBTQ+ venues, an Erskineville institution that's been the beating heart of the Inner West's queer scene since 1983 and is now listed on the NSW State Heritage Register. World-famous as the pub from The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, it reopened after a lavish overhaul as a three-in-one destination: "Priscillas," a ground-floor pub-bistro with a veggie-forward menu and nightly drag shows, an open-air rooftop pizzeria and cocktail lounge up top, and a basement dance club hosting some of Sydney's best queer party collectives.
