The Marlborough Hotel, universally known as "The Marly," is a Newtown institution that's been watering the Inner West since 1860, a big, characterful pub that's all things to all people: a sun-drenched beer garden, a retro upstairs bar, live music and DJs, pool tables, sport, and a basement that turns into one of Newtown's worst-kept late-night secrets, dancing to Tokyo Sing Song till the early hours on weekends.
