The Hive

The Hive is Vienna's largest queer venue in the Naschmarkt gay village, a café-bar, restaurant, and cellar club in the former Red Carpet space on Magdalenenstraße, open since July 2020. By day and early evening, it is a cozy spot for coffee, wine, cocktails, and generous plates, with a shaded garden in summer; on event nights, the cellar becomes a dance floor with DJ sets, jukebox nights, and themed parties. It hosts the monthly LGBTQ+ Friends Vienna meetups and welcomes everyone, with a friendly, younger crowd.
