Centre Stage CPH

Centre Stage is the new heart of Copenhagen's LGBTQ+ nightlife, opened in August 2024 in the storied premises of the beloved Cosy Bar, which ran from 1941 until 2024. Carrying that legacy forward with plenty of glitz and glamour, it's all musicals, pop hits, and iconic divas, with drag shows, karaoke, cabaret, and themed party nights on its cozy stage. Beautifully done out with chandeliers and a British-club feel, it draws a warm, international, mixed-age crowd (with a chill 40-plus lean on quieter nights), and its friendly owner-host Morten and bartenders are singled out again and again in reviews. There's a restaurant upstairs serving Thursday through Saturday, making it a complete night out on the Studiestræde gay strip.
