Before Sauna Club

Before Sauna Club, known as the B4, is a large 600-square-meter gay and libertine sauna club on the eastern edge of Nantes in Sainte-Luce-sur-Loire, about fifteen minutes from the center. Its balneo area centers on a jacuzzi that holds nearly thirty people, alongside a sauna, hammam and cold shower, backed by a bar-and-lounge that turns into a discotheque with DJ sets Thursday to Sunday, a terrace, a sheltered garden and 21 private rooms, some themed (dungeon, Roman, vintage, Asian). It runs gay men-only afternoons most days and opens to all tendencies, couples and women in the evenings, so it's worth checking the schedule. Clean, festive and well-equipped, with a welcome aperitif and even an oyster bar, it's earned a name as one of the best clubs in the Grand Ouest.
