Viva is the best-known and most popular gay sauna in Stuttgart, a central, well-kept venue of over 330 square meters across two floors in the city center, right by the Olgaeck tram stop. It pairs a proper Finnish sauna with aromatic infusions and a milder steam room, with a bar, a chill-out lounge, a TV room, private lockable cabins, and a cruising area with dimly lit nooks. Open daily and continually updated since it opened in 1997, it puts a real emphasis on cleanliness and safer sex, working closely with the German LGBT association, and runs a popular Thursday youngsters' day for 18-to-30s. Friendly and reliable, it's the go-to sauna in the Swabian capital.
