Fredy's Tucán Zona Romántica

Fredy's Tucan is a Puerto Vallarta institution, a beloved breakfast-and-brunch spot in the heart of the Zona Romántica that's been serving locals and visitors since 1995. Set in an ample, tropical garden courtyard three blocks from the beach, with air-conditioned indoor seating too, it turns out more than fifty well-priced dishes: eggs Benedict, pancakes and waffles, generous omelets, chilaquiles, molletes and machaca, house-made sweet rolls and unlimited coffee, plus a full lunch menu of tacos, burgers and Mexican classics. Fast, friendly, and consistently packed, with owner Federico often on the floor helping his team, it's widely regarded as the best breakfast in town. Don't be put off by the high-season line; it moves quickly.
