Transcafé

Transcafé Rotterdam is a warm, welcoming social gathering for everyone exploring gender identity, hosted twice a month at COC Rotterdam Rijnmond, one of the oldest LGBTQ+ rights organizations in the world. On the first and third Sunday of every month, the room becomes a friendly "second living room" where trans men and women, non-binary, genderqueer and intersex people, from those just starting to question to the long-since-out, come together to connect, swap experiences and simply be themselves, so no one is left to face their questions, doubts or fears alone. Partners, friends, colleagues and family are just as welcome; the atmosphere is cheerful and open, entry is free, and drinks are affordable. Sometimes there are guest speakers, workshops, or a visiting makeup artist; there's always a safe, judgment-free place to land and have a laugh.
