Grantham Countryside

Country House in South Kesteven Lincolnshire. ( Grantham countryside ) We offer a Bedroom and ensuite toilet / shower with French windows to the garden. The bed is a comfortable 1.60 x 2.00 double, the room has TV and the use of a lounge next to the bedroom also with TV. The house is an ex coaching inn / pub which dates from the 17th Century in a village on the old Grantham to Lincoln road. It has a large garden and for golf lovers is situated opposite the entrance to a golf course with driving range. (There are two more golf courses within a 10 minute drive). The house is situated in the centre of the area with easy reach of Grantham, Lincoln, Newark, Sleaford and slightly further afield, Nottingham, Sheffield and Boston with fast trains from Grantham to London (approx 1 hour) and towns to the north like York. We are close to Belton House National Trust country house and deer park which is a great place to while away a few hours. Also close is Belvoir House which was used as the location for many of the scenes in The Crown TV series. For lovers of adventure there is the Go Cart, Paint Ball, Firing Range in Ancaster. We are situated on the Viking Way hiking and other trails providing the potential for long walks through the Lincolnshire countryside. There are numerous pubs to relax and enjoy a meal in the surrounding villages, most within a five or ten minute drive and a great cafe on the Golf course itself. We believe in a relaxing friendly atmosphere. We have a very sociable Cockapoo who pretty much gets on with everyone like his owners. On request we can provide dinner.
