Come to enjoy the many amenities for shopping, dining and recreation in Palm Desert while staying at my tranquil guest bedrooms and gardens. You will be just minutes away from the superb shops and restaurants on El Paseo and the vibrant LGBTQ+ scene in nearby Palm Springs. There are two bedrooms, a private bathroom, salt water pool & Jacuzzi (weather permitting) for you as well as shared spaces in the living room, dining area and outdoors. While I enjoy being available for my guests, I honor your privacy during your stay and am happy to provide information and amenities to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable.

Hi, I'm a retired software engineer, originally from the Northeast US, but now living in the fabulous soCali Desert outside of Palm Springs and I'd never move back! I'm very active, enjoy travel and meeting people from all over. Very early in my work history I had jobs in restaurants, hotels and resorts so hosting comes very naturally to me. The El Paseo shopping district, ******** of the Desert” offers a wide array of mid high end retail, dining and art galleries just minutes away. During March every year, it is the venue for for a spectacular culinary experience with a roster of the nation’s top chefs during the Food and Wine Festival (tickets required). If fashion is your reason for being, do not miss the West Coast's largest fashion week, also in March, hosted at the El Paseo Gardens (tickets/packages required). Speaking of fashion, the shopping outlets at Cabazon are a must for a day of retail therapy and less than an hour’s drive away. You might need to stop in Palm Springs for a libation to celebrate your purchases on the way back!
If you have the urge to walk about in an internationally acclaimed desert zoo and botanical garden, The Living Desert, is just moments away by car. Specially lit night events are held during the year for a very different experience. Nature lovers will also appreciate the many miles of desertscape hiking we have here throughout the Coachella Valley.
Tennis fans can attend the BNP Paribas Tennis Tournament held in nearby Indian Wells during March every year. There are public golf courses and tennis courts open year round as well.
LGBTQ+ clubs are located minutes away in Cathedral City and Palm Springs. Ask me for recommendations for drag brunches, Karaoke nights and favorite restaurants we are fortunate to frequent here. Don’t forget Palm Springs Pride during the first weekend of November!
A great summer escape from the heat is the mountain town of Idyllwild, about an hour’s drive away and thirty degrees cooler. There are many Boho shops, restaurants and a vibrant music scene to enjoy.
Music fans of the Coachella and Stagecoach festivals can arrive at the Empire Polo Club in Indio after a thirty minute (or less) drive.
Some of the most memorable dining in the greater Palm Springs area can be found in Palm Desert with prices for every budget. Art lovers can appreciate the many fine galleries in the city and if you enjoy consignment store shopping you’re in luck as well. Be sure to visit the Palm Springs Museum of Art and its separate Architecture and Design facility. Those who enjoy Mid Century art and architecture can appreciate tours and lectures held twice yearly (in February and October) during Modernism Week.

I want to make your stay as comfortable, safe and relaxing as possible. My only rules which are not negotiable are that you do not bring any weapons inside, smoke/vape outdoors only, use no glassware outside at the pool or other exterior spaces and adhere to this city's regulations for short term guests. These include observing quiet hours from 10 PM - 10 AM (prohibiting radios, musical instruments, and other sound emitting devices outside of a home/rental property) and parking only in the driveway. With two bedrooms available, I limit the number of guest cars to two per stay. Pets are NOT allowed and children must be at least age 13.
