It's a mere 3km away from the very famous world kite boarding beach (Sunset Beach) On arrival you will immediately feel like you are on holiday, feeling relaxed and at ease.

This home is filled with natural light and perfectly designed to shelter you from Cape Town's notorious south easter.

The home consists of an open plan kitchen, which is the hub of the house, a dining room and a combustion fire place in the living room for those cold winter nights. The 2nd floor hosts the master suite with en-suite bathroom and walk-in cupboard. Two of the ********nstairs bedrooms open up on to a spacious covered patio, a private pool with cabana to accommodate all 8 guests for sunshine and relaxation on those beautiful sunny Cape Town days. Also all rooms have fans. A small tropical garden adds to the space. The patio has ample seating as well as wood burning braai (Barbecue) which is a favorite for all guests and adds to the truly South African experience. (Don't hesitate to ask for recommendations of where to purchase various steak cuts and lamb chops)

Secure parking for four cars in the driveway. The house includes a 5kw battery and inverter system that will keep lights and plugs on during national loadshedding which hopefully is a thing of the past.

The property was hosted on ******** over the last 4 years and was a guest favorite. It has since been renovated and fitted out with a brand new lux beach house interior and relaunched October 2024.

The property is a free standing home in an exclusive suburban pocket of Lagoon Beach, Milnerton. As a former owner of a security company I have used these skills to ensure optimal security of the property and your safety. The homes perimeter is secured by an electric fence and a CCTV camera system that monitors all the access points. There's also perimeter beams and a internal alarm system for your peace of mind.

Milnerton beach is a popular surfing and kite boarding beach. However there is a rip current which is not suitable for swimming. Beaches suitable for swimming/cold water submerging would be Big Bay, Small Bay and Sea Point within a 8km radius of the property and world famous beaches a little further out along the Atlantic Seaboard all within close driving proximity or using The Myciti bus service.

Some fun facts about the location. 10m to lagoon. 400m to the beach. 400m to Myciti bus terminal. 700m to Milnerton links golf course. 4km to Century City the biggest mall in the Western Cape. 8km to Cape Town International Convention Centre and V&A Waterfront and the Oranjezicht weekend market. 10km to the Sea Point Promenade and Cape Town Stadium. 16km to the Table Mountain cable car. 17km to the most beautiful beaches that CT has to offer, Clifton and Camps Bay. 19km to the Airport but you're not going to want to leave. Guests have easy access to the entire property with exception the garage and storeroom. One kitchen cupboard is locked as it contains some of our favorite glassware.

The pool has a safety cover for children and piece of mind. The pool is not heated. Outdoor cushions won't be left out when rain is predicted and winter months. The cleaning lady works every Thursday 9am to 4pm.

Flamingo Villa welcomes all guests and families with children. Please note however that we do not offer high chairs, cots / baby beds and prams.
