Spectacular View Home

Great place to stay in SF. Wonderful quiet location nestled up on the hill. Spectacular views as described! Hosts were very nice and wonderful to check-in with as they went over things and gave a little history of the home renovations of the space. Bedrooms were separated by the kitchen which would be great if you wanted more privacy with multiple guests. Bathroom was wonderful as well. Would definitely stay again!

My bestie and I decided to come up to SF to celebrate my birthday, and after searching high and low for reasonable accommodations he found this gem of a property in a beautiful quite neighborhood just off of the castro with a view to die for. I found myself on more than one occasion just starring out on the bay from this overlook and taking it in. David and Robert were super friendly and welcoming hosts. They helped us with recommendations of things to do while we were in town. I love a friendly and helpful host! The apartment itself while not really huge is designed spaciously and takes advantage of every square-foot. It’s a quite comfortable space with a lovely living room and two spacious bedrooms and a good bathroom with a really pretty shower set up. The fridge was stocked with drinks for us and they had a some snacks available for us too. If you are having mobility difficulties there are several steps in the unit that are an important consideration for guests with mobility issues. There is not on site parking but just down the way there is a little public lot that the hosts recommended we use, and it was great, we always had a spot when we needed. Being just off of the castro its really easy to access the nightlife and shops near by. Stop by Hot Cookie, just down the hill and theres a stunning little Brazilian cafe around the corner. Poesia in that neighborhood is a great little stop for breakfast. We also enjoyed Brenda's near civic center. The views up and down market street are stunning and there are lots of options for dinning, gyms (important for me), and nightlife too. The apartment being up in the hills in Twin Peaks is a double edged sword. You're a few mins from everything and its quiet-- but you're also a few mins from everything, and it takes a few mins to get out of the neighborhood (a complaint raised by my travel companion). I think the stunning view of the city more than makes up for the little bit of a commute. All-in-all I couldn't think of a better place to stay while in San Francisco. It's kind of the dream.

What a wonderful place! This is! My best buddy, John and I were able to have a relaxing time in this spacious apartment. The amenities were everything we needed. From the updated bathroom, to the extras we found in the kitchen, we couldn't ask for better. The furniture and the lighting, were comfortable clean and the hot water in the shower was more than enough for two big guys! LOL you will have a great time visiting here. During our visit, the owners checked in on us a couple of times to make sure we were comfortable, and at one point paid us a social visit in the afternoon. We had a nice conversation - he pointed out things that we missed from our view, and was very warm and friendly. Make sure you get yourself some extra coffee! The view is so good, that you'll end up staying outside enjoying cup after cup. We will definitely be back again to visit.
