The Reveal

James & Manshil's guest room in their large old farmhouse style home with a wrap around garden provides a peaceful setting in this quiet cul de sac in Upper Woodstock, walking distance to restaurants and transport routes.

Our guest room is available for world travellers. The house is 90+ years old with wooden floors. High ceilings create an elegant ambience. A modern bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen (gas stove/dishwasher/washing machine/microwave/le creuset cookware), lounge/dining room (with an electric piano) all makes for contemporary comfort and entertaining!

The guest room is fitted with a queen sized bed, desk, built in cupboards & bright white linen. A large fully fitted bathroom includes a shower/bathtub.

Washing can be done in the kitchen with the washing machine. Guests will be required to purchase their own detergents according to their needs. Food not included, but guests are most welcome to make use of the kitchen. There is a microwave, fridge/freezer, lots of storage and lighting. The bedrooms are fitted with built in cupboards.

The property contains a back yard with patio furniture & a barbecue grill.

If off street parking is required it may be possible to arrange tandem parking.

Other things to note

The area now ******** by the Khoikhoi people from the 5th cent CE to 1666, when Dutch immigrants established a farm named "Roodebloem" (Red Flower) here, on the sunny slopes of Table Mountain. The original farm house can be visited just 200 meters away, as it is now an Art School, Ruth Prowse School of Art. A mannor house was built in what is now Lawley Road. This is now the home of the King James media company.
